Well, it’s a movie that takes place in France, but it’s not a french movie though :)
The road they used is called “La Route Des Crêtes” btw... I got to skate down it and drive it too... it’s “pretty awesome” to say the least.

I’ll bet it’s awesome. elevation and twisty roads are rare here. Also I see yellow headlights and think France, like little mirrors on the fender say “Japan”.

Now this is a car chase for car people. Long cuts let you actually see the maneuvers and watch the cars move about on the road, instead of the quarter-second switchbacks in most other movies. And they’re having fun! A car chase doesn’t have to involve murderers and drive-or-die stakes, it can just be for fun.
